1. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email, and business details you provide at signup. Financial data: transaction and balance data from connected bank accounts (via Plaid), and payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers). Usage data: how you interact with the Service, for improving functionality.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to: provide and operate the Service, calculate burn rate and runway, generate AI investor updates, process payments, and communicate with you about your account.
3. AI Processing
Financial data and business information you provide may be processed by third-party AI providers (currently Groq) to generate investor update drafts. This data is used solely to generate your requested content and is not used to train external models beyond what our AI provider’s standard processing terms specify.
4. Data Sharing
We share data with the following third-party service providers solely to operate the Service: Stripe (payment processing), Plaid (bank account connectivity), Supabase (data storage and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Groq (AI content generation). We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal and financial data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes) or necessary to resolve disputes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.
